Ex- Physician Faces Sexual Assault Charges Involving 38 Patients
Legal authorities have stated that a ex- physician now faces charges for committing sexual assaults against thirty-eight victims who were patients.
Details of the Grave Allegations
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham has been charged with dozens of acts of sexual assault – some of which involve acts against minors under the age of thirteen – between 2017 and 2021.
One senior CPS official said, “Legal teams have worked at length to assist a thorough and intricate investigation, carefully reviewing the available evidence to establish that there is sufficient evidence to bring the case to trial and that it is in the public interest.”
The Police Inquiry
The charges come after what police called a “detailed inquiry” into reported assaults at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and Russells Hall hospital.
The defendant is scheduled to appear at the local magistrates' court on January 20th.

The charging documents outline the 45 charges include:
- 15 counts of sexual assault.
- 17 counts of assault by penetration.
- Nine counts of assault on a minor under thirteen.
